Chinese Cabbage Salad

Here’s another recipe from my friend, Gilda. It’s yummy and easy to make.

Chinese Cabbage Salad  chinese-cabbage-salad

  • 2/5 lbs. Nappa cabbage or chopped cabbage
  • 5 green onions
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 pkg. Ramen noodles, chopped
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • ¼ cup Sesame seeds

In ¼ cup butter, brown noodles, almonds and Sesame Seeds. Mix with cabbage and onions.  Add dressing.


Mix together ¾ cup peanut oil (OR 3 Tblsp. Peanut butter and canola oil to equal ¾ cup oil) with ½ cup sugar, ¼ cup rice vinegar, 2 tsp. Soy sauce and boil hard for 1 minute; then cool.
