Valentine’s Day Chocolate Pudding Cake

What could be better than a warm chocolate cake to celebrate Valentine’s Day or just to celebrate chocolate? I made it the other day and we love it. In fact, I will not be responsible if you eat too much. LOVE TO ALL!

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • ¾ tsp. baking powder
  • ¾ tsp, salt
  • 6 T. margarine, melted
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • ¾ cup brown sugar 

    Mix together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Mix together melted margarine, milk, vanilla, sugar and eggs. Combine flour mixture and egg mixture, just until mixed. Fold in nuts and pour into ungreased 8-inch square pan. Combine 1/3 cup cocoa, brown sugar (packed) and 1 1/3 cup boiling water. Pour over cake. Bake in preheated 350 degrees oven for 35-40 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
