I once saw a cartoon with a bedraggled mother and her young children. Across the top was written, “Her children rise up and call her blessed.” Proverba 31:28  Across the bottom was written, “My children just rise up and call me.”

“All the concepts about stepping out of your comfort zone mean nothing until you decide that your essential purpose, vision and goals are more important than your self-imposed limitations.” Robert White

“The point of prayer is not to get answers from God, but to have perfect and complete oneness with Him . . .We are not here to prove that God answers prayer, but to be living trophies of God’s grace.” Oswald Chambers

“And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father . . . “ Colossians 1: 10-11
