Suz-achino Frozen Coffee – (How to be Perfect . . . Post)

   This is my new friend, Susan Stilwell . I met her last week at a wrtier’s retreat. This summer, she played around with recipes until she concocted what she says is “THE BEST frozen coffee drink, and it’s as good as a Starbucks Frappachino.”  She also says it’s “quick and easy to make . . . And it’s a fraction of the cost.” She’s even given it a special name:

  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup skim milk
  • 1 Tbsp. powdered creamer
  • ½ Tbsp. instant coffee
  • Optional: sweeteners such as: 1 squirt chocolate syrup or 1 Tbsp. flavored syrup (like sugar-free caramel)

Blend at least 1 minute. The longer you blend it, the creamier it gets.
