Crumbs – The Enthusiasm Project

“Morale is the state of mind. It is steadfastness and courage and hope. It is confidence and zeal and loyalty. It is ѐlan, esprit de corps and determination.” General George Catlett Marshall (American military commander during WWII)

Meet our son-in-law, Lt. Col. Brian Payne. He, Katie, and their four girls live in Fairbanks, Alaska. In a few weeks, Brian and his battalion will be deployed to Afghanistan for a year. Please pray for their safety and  for the success of their mission.  Also, pray for Katie and the girls. It’ll be a long winter in Alaska without him. The above quote describes Brian perfectly. He is a Godly man committed to his family and his country. We’re so proud of him.

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24

  • “Nothing, Pooh Bear, nothing. We can’t all, and some of us don’t. That’s all there is to it.”
  • “Can’t all what? said Pooh, rubbing his nose.
  • “Gaity. Song-and-dance. Here we go round the mulberry bush.”      Winnie the Pooh
